2.5S Monthly Review Summary

Review Summary

Finally, Vice President of Operations Ni Jufeng analyzed and summarized the monthly “5S” management situation and held a “5S” flag ceremony.

The overall situation in each region remains in good condition, but details still need to be improved and improved. Specifically, it includes:

Administrative office situation: File cabinets, lockers, and drawers are not managed according to regulations; The desk files and office supplies were not placed according to regulations;

Warehouse situation: Electroplating materials without protective measures are prone to dust accumulation and oxidation;

Workshop situation: mixed placement of tools and materials; The material racks in the metalworking workshop are disorderly placed, the equipment is not properly cleaned, the tools occupy the aisle, and the power cord is directly on the ground, posing safety hazards;

David Liu, General Manager of GRL Electric, commented on this report. Firstly, David Liu affirmed the content and format of this meeting.

With long-term persistence and accumulation, GRL’s lean management has made significant progress, but it has also exposed some problems that require us to learn more tools and methods to address.

Lean management is a major project that requires the full cooperation and cooperation of various departments throughout the company.

It also requires management personnel to lead by example and provide positive guidance to grassroots employees.
Regarding 5S management, David Liu stated that through this period of persistence, the overall 5S of the company has been greatly improved.

However, in some details and loopholes, relevant personnel still need to pay attention and rectify them.

David Liu also said, ‘Once the head is open, the flag must be inserted to the end’!

GRL will continue to promote lean and 5S management in the long term, establish standardized management processes, and use this as a foundation to promote GRL to achieve greater results.
