GRL 2000v DNH50 load break switch

Compared to traditional AC power distribution systems, DC currents in new energy distribution systems lack natural zero-crossing points, making arc extinction difficult and resulting in longer arc durations once an arc occurs. Therefore, higher requirements are imposed on arc suppression capabilities and structural design. Due to the high energy and serious hazards associated with DC arcs, there is an urgent need for new energy systems for DC load break switches with stronger breaking capacity. To address this need, we have specifically developed the DNH50 load break switch.
This product series is suitable for low-voltage power distribution networks with a DC voltage of up to 2000V and a rated operating current of up to 630A. It can be used for infrequent switching operations in main circuits, achieving effective isolation and disconnection of circuits. It is widely applicable in solar photovoltaic systems, energy storage systems (ESS), and various types of DC equipment.

The DNH50 load break switch has passed multiple authoritative certifications, including CCC, CE, CB, and TUV.

The DNH50 DC load break switch requires only 2P to meet the DC2000V rated voltage requirement. It features a modular design, making it easier for customers to select models, with a more compact structure that effectively reduces the size of the enclosure, lowers customer costs, and facilitates installation. The arc extinguishing system combines permanent magnets (third-generation rare earth permanent magnet materials) with narrow-slot arc quenching technology, complying with the DC-PV2 usage category. It can safely make and break photovoltaic circuits where large overload currents may occur and where current flow is bidirectional.

In energy storage systems, the DNH50 load break switch plays a key role within high-voltage cabinets:

1. Providing safe electrical isolation

ensuring reliable electrical disconnection between the energy storage battery (or battery cluster) and downstream power conversion systems (PCS), DC busbars, or other equipment;

2. Ensuring safety for maintenance personnel

offering a clearly visible and easily operable isolation point. Operators can directly observe through the viewing window whether the contacts have fully disconnected and can use padlocks to prevent accidental closure, effectively avoiding the risk of electric shock and meeting the core requirements of electrical safety standards.

3. Working in coordination with other protective devices

capable of working together with fuses, DC contactors, DC relays, and others to jointly ensure the operational safety of the energy storage system.
