“2 Hour ” The Strong after-sales service！— Distribution box not working case analysis

At 20:30 on June 13, 2022, GRL received a call for help from the user. Saying that the building’s power distribution box is not working in the basement of Jinyueyuan Community, which caused the entire community to shut down.

The owners were very anxious. Jinyueyuan is a top-star community in Wenzhou, is about 100KM away from GRL’s geographic location.

The power company reached the scene of the accident at the fast speed, and made a record:

First, they checked the outside of electric distribution box,

They found electric distribution box was out of order, which is one 400 amp distribution box. And it is main distribution box that control the circuit safety of a building.Indeed, this distribution box is suitable for outdoor use and the material is metal.. But the level of waterproof electrical distribution panel is not enough.

Second, they opened the cover of the distribution box and checked all the parts of this distribution box. ONLY have one 400 amp fused disconnect switch and one MCCB in distribution box. The configuration of the distribution power box is very simple.

Third, After finding all the reasons, they contacted electrical distribution box manufacturers,fuse disconnect switch manufacturers,MCCB manufacturers,mcb distribution box manufacturers as soon as possible.

As a manufacturer of fuse disconnect switch, GRL immediately arranged the after-sales service. GRL after-sales staff delivered the new Fuse Disconnect Switch in 2 hours. In order to meet the requirements, GRL company dispatched the chief engineer and the manager of the after-sales service department to solve problem.

They found the reason and removed the faulty fused disconnect switch. At the same time, they use the new fused disconnect switch to replace it and ensure that the community restores electricity the first time.We have done the research about the bad 400 amp fused disconnect switch. According to the research, we have come to the conclusion why the 400 amp power distribution box does not work:

1. Because it is the plum rain season from April to June in southern China. especially in 2022, it has a long rainy time, which result in humid and sultry of the basement for a long time. many water droplets collect on the bus bridge and cable. Ultimately, the water droplets along the cable into the switch and result in the switch burned. Another reason that the fireproof mud seal on the upper of waterproof electrical distribution panel is insufficient.
2. When the power distribution box constructed, Wiring screw for outlet end did not follow the rule to use the torque wrench. Excessive torque has caused  deformation of the fuse disconnector contact.There is  virtual connection after operation and water drops in the switch, resulting in burnout.
