GRL fuse bases are unipolar or multipolar supports for knife-edge fuses. There are 1 pole, 2 poles and 3 poles. The fuse bases can be used in combination with HRC NH fuse link NH00, NH1, NH2 to NH3. The NT(NH) fuse holders are widely applied in both DC and AC power distribution systems.Suitable for AC690V, AC500V, DC 440V, DC 250V ,etc.

1. What’s The Function Of Fuse Base?
The fuse base is used in conjunction with the fuse to protect the circuit system from overload. When the current is overloaded or short-circuited, the fuse will blow and cut off the circuit at the same time to protect downstream components.
2. How To Judge The Quality Of Fuse Base?
Authoritative Certificates are the best proof, such as VDE, UL, TUV, CE and so on. TUV and CE for fuse base are available from GRL.
The fuse that chooses high-quality materials will have higher performance. Taking brass and copper as examples, copper contacts have better conductivity than brass and can better control temperature rise.
For the base material, nylon and ceramic are the mainstream choices. The nylon base has better physical properties, anti-drop and cracks resistance. The ceramic base has better insulation properties. Both are available from GRL.

Under normal circumstances, the fuse base does not have arc extinguishing protection device, so there is a risk of electric shock.
In order to improve the safety of product application, GRL specially developed a fuse base with touch protection. No conductors are exposed, which reducing the risk of electric shock.
5. How To Install And Remove The Fuse?
Under normal circumstances, the fuse base does not have an operating mechanism. Additional tools are needed to install and remove the fuse. Thus, we have developed NT handle, which is used to install and remove the fuse.
